Termini Brothers Bakery has been South Philadelphia's Italian pastry landmark since 1921, when brothers Giuseppe and Gaetano Termini opened on 8th Street. Its cannoli — shells fried and filled to order — are a Philadelphia rite, alongside pignoli cookies, sfogliatelle and holiday coffee-ring cakes.
A century and three generations on, the marble counters and hand-lettered boxes remain — earning Termini the 2025 Centurion Award for Best Bakery.
