Lithuanian Bakery
Best Old-World Bakery in Omaha · NE
Home of the Napoleon torte
Lithuanian Bakery has baked Old-World pastries and breads in Omaha since 1962, when Stephanjia and Vytautas Mackevicius brought their sourdough rye recipes from Lithuania. The signature is the Napoleon torte — layers of flaky pastry and custard — alongside rye loaves, kolaches, and a cafe serving soups and sandwiches.
A family-run taste of Eastern Europe for more than sixty years, the bakery is an Omaha destination for its tortes and breads, mailed to homesick Lithuanians across the country.
