Edelweiss German Restaurant
Best German Restaurant in Colorado Springs · CO
A Bavarian evening in an old schoolhouse
Edelweiss has kept German food and culture alive on the south side of Colorado Springs since 1967, a family-owned restaurant that has served more than a million diners its schnitzel, sauerbraten, and house-made bratwurst. Three fireplaces warm the rooms in winter and a Biergarten opens in summer, with strolling musicians on weekend nights.
Set in a historic stone building, Edelweiss is the city's definitive German table — the place locals bring visitors for a stein, a pretzel, and a plate of the old country.
