Zeitgeist has been San Francisco's great outdoor dive since the late 1970s — a beer-garden bar near Valencia and Duboce where bikers, punks, cyclists and off-duty cooks share long picnic tables in the sun. Dozens of beers on tap, famously strong Bloody Marys, a tamale cart and a strict no-photos rule keep it defiantly itself.
